UFO Day

Meets on the 4th Wednesday, from 9:30am-12:30pm or 1:00-4:00pm approximately.  This group is a group focused on finishing up projects.  The meeting time allows those participating, to work at the shop, access to assistance from the shop staff with difficulties, access to miscellaneous tools that they may not already have at home, and fellowship to urge you to complete those projects that are great to start, but may need a jump start to finish.  Cost is $5.00 per Wednesday.  You may attend either morning, afternoon, or both for this $5.00 fee. The $5.00 fee is applied to any purchases you may make during the day. Contact the shop for more details.

 

Celebration Saturday

Celebrate the last Saturday of the month with Judy Bobbit making one of her latest patterns.  Her “Small Celebrations” line of patterns is a best seller. The class runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm.

The class fee is $15.00, plus the cost of the pattern and materials, or you can sign up for the kit like the shop sample for $38.00.

Teacher: Judy Bobbit          $15.00 per session. Minimum of 4 students, so please pre-register.

 

Race for a Cure Quilt-In

Allison Brown-Cestero has been a tireless volunteer for the San Antonio Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure Tribute Quilts. Each year many race participants enter a tribute for a loved one that has been stricken with breast cancer.  These items are then transferred to Printed Treasures, by Allison, then incorporated into pieced quilts that hang at the race on race day.  The quilts also are hung at promotional events. Allison has been holding workshops for this since 2004 and we are proud to be associated with this endeavor. Each month on the 4th Tuesday, Allison is at the shop working on these quilts. We invite anyone who would like to help out to come and work with her.  The shop is open from 8:30-7:00 on Tuesdays and you can come at any time and stay for an hour or all day, whatever fits your schedule.  All materials are furnished.  You will need your sewing machine and cutting tools. People are also needed to iron, if you prefer not to sew. If you prefer hand work, there is always binding.
