             Thank you for visiting the Fabric ‘n Friends’ website. We’d love for you to visit our shop in historic downtown Castroville, Texas, just fifteen miles west of San Antonio on US Highway 90.  This historic Alsatian community features some of the most historically correct buildings in the United States. When visiting our shop, you’ll also enjoy shopping at some of the other local antique and gift shops, and dining at one of our local restaurants. 

             Our 3000 square foot shop is home to over 3500 bolts of quality fabric from all of the leading fabric manufacturers. Although our shop favorites are bright contemporary cotton prints and batiks, we also have a good selection of Thimbleberries, civil war reproductions, 1930’s prints, florals, homespuns, juvenile prints, flannels and the complete Jinny Beyer palette to fulfill every quilter’s needs. We have expanded our line to add some fabrics which are especially good for jumpers, jackets and other light apparel. Of course, we always have an interesting assortment of books, patterns, notions, and gifts to inspire you and promote your individual creativity.

             We are enthusiastically making plans for the 2008 Tenth annual Blue Bonnet Patchwork Trail Shop Hop! In honor of the 10th anniversary, the shops have expanded the hop schedule to include Thursday, to allow more opportunities for everyone to participate.  The dates are April 10-13, 2008, so mark your calendar now and check the website and the shop for updates & details.

Be sure to purchase your T-Shirt for $10.00 your pin for $5.00 and ask for the Jeep Collins charm at the first shop on hop day, they are made in limited quantities only. 

Remember the March 15th deadline for your challenge block.
